As part of its efforts to disseminate the results of the InShaPe project, IMT, one of the project partners, took part in the national science programme “Ugriznimo znanost” (“Let’s Bite into Science”), which was broadcast during prime time on RTV 1 Slovenia. The show is designed for a general audience and presents scientific topics in an engaging and accessible way. The episode, which runs for approximately 30 minutes, was partly filmed in the studio and partly on location at research institutes and industrial partners. This particular episode focused on aluminium as a material of the future. One segment was dedicated to the PBF-LB/M process, in which we discussed not only the technology and the unique characteristics of printed microstructures, along with the crucial role of electron microscopy in understanding them, but also introduced the InShaPe project and highlighted our role within it.
