In the EU-funded project InShaPe, leading European research institutions and industrial partners team up to revolutionize metal #AdditiveManufacturing, making it faster, cheaper, and more sustainable through beam shaping. Recently, our project partners from BEAMIT Group – Additive Manufacturing Technologies visited the Advanced Manufacturing Campus in Garching, marking a significant milestone in the industrialization of this groundbreaking technology. In collaboration with Technical University of Munich and Oerlikon AM, they conducted multiple tests to identify process parameters and laser shapes for producing complex components.
